May performances

There are many opportunities to see our featured customer, cellist Karissa Zadinsky perform in May. She will be performing with Gerard Schwarz and the Seattle Symphony for their Discover Music/MySymphony concerts at Benaroya Hall and for a lunch time performance at Seattle City Hall. On May 8th at 11:00 a.m. she will be performing in A Tribute to Leonard Bernstein. Information and tickets ($15/students ~ $20/adults) can be found online: seattlesymphony.org

On May 11th she will be performing in concerts with MySymphony at 10:30 a.m. The public is welcome to attend. Tickets start at $8 ~  Call 206-215-4784 for more information.

Karissa will perform at a free Seattle Symphony Community Concert at the Seattle City Hall from noon until 1:00pm on May 21, 2010. "On Friday, May 21, Maestro Gerard Schwarz conducts the Seattle Symphony in a special free performance at City Hall. This is Maestro Schwarz's final season with the symphony. A 2006 Mayor's Arts Award recipient, Schwarz will bow out after 26 impressive years as music director. The symphony will perform works by Ernest Bloch, Charles Griffes and Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky with soloists Jocelyn Chang, violin; Lauren Glass, flute; and Karissa Zadinsky, cello."
