Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra

On Sunday March 21, 2010 the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing at Meany Hall, UW. The 3pm concert includes the following:

Reznicek - Overture, "Donna Diana"

Samuel Jones - Janus

Bruckner  - Symphony No. 2 in C

The concert is $18 for general admission, $10 senior/student and youth under 16 are free to attend. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at 206-292-ARTS.

Founded in 1944, their mission statement is, "The Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote orchestral music in the community with skilled musicians performing a wide variety of music from the symphonic literature, and by offering low-cost, high-quality concerts throughout the Puget Sound region." www.seattlephil.org
